Court of Audits Issues Adverse Opinion on 2009 Budget

Ljubljana, 16 September - The Court of Audit issued on Thursday an adverse opinion on the draft closing account for the 2009 state budget as well as on its implementation. The auditors believe the government shored up the banking system in an illegal way, using fresh state debt money to provide bank deposits which amount to loans.
