Writer Pahor Comes Under Fire for Comments on Black Mayor

Ljubljana, 31 December - Slovenian minority writer from Italy Boris Pahor has come under fire from media commentators and politicians for his comments on the new Piran mayor, Ghanaian-born Peter Bossman. Pahor pointed to what he labelled the lack of national awareness, which is "seen in Piran, where they have a black mayor".
