Zares Steps Forward for Media Freedom

Ljubljana, 19 January - The deputy group of the coalition Zares proposed on Wednesday scrapping the parts of the penal code which allow for the prosecution and prison sentence for journalists for libel. According to the faction's head, Franco Juri, this is the key reason why Slovenia fares poorly in international media freedom ratings.
