Defence: Key Witness in Patria Trial Did Not Confirm Damage

Ljubljana, 26 January - The defence of former Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and former chief-of-staff Albin Gutman who are being tried for malfeasance in office in the biggest defence deal in Slovenia's history, came out of Wednesday's hearing feeling optimistic, saying that the prosecution's key witness failed to confirm its main claim.
