Top Court Asked to Prevent Archives Referendum

Ljubljana, 17 February - The coalition majority in parliament voted on Thursday to submit the opposition's demand for a referendum on legislative changes restricting access to archives of Communist-era intelligence services to the Constitutional Court for a review. The court needs to say whether it will allow a referendum within 30 days.
