Coalition Wants to Strip MPs of Right to File for Referendum

Ljubljana, 7 March - Coalition deputy groups and Public Administration Minister Irma Pavlinic Krebs reached on Monday an agreement on planned changes to referendum legislation. Changes would strip deputies of the right to file for a ballot, there would be a quorum needed for the validity of the referendum and human rights issues could not be put up for vote.
