Capital of Culture Project to Be Presented to EU Commission

Brussels, 27 April - The Maribor 2012 institute, which is organising Maribor's stint as the European Capital of Culture in 2012, will present the state of preparations to the European Commission on Wednesday, aiming at securing a EUR 1.5m Melina Mercouri prize, the only direct EU funding of the project.
