Slovenia Gets Second EU Warning on Waste Management, Road Safety

Brussels, 19 May - The European Commission issued a reasoned opinion to Slovenia on Thursday over its failure to notify it of transposing the EU Waste Framework Directive into national law due by December 2010. It was also asked to set up appropriate procedures for improving the safety of the trans-European road network in accordance with the EU law.
