MPs Pass Changes to Foreigners Act

Ljubljana, 15 June - The National Assembly passed changes to the foreigners act in a 42:25 vote on Wednesday. While the government claims that the motion boosts protection of the rights of migrants and eliminates administrative barriers, the opposition argues it will allow acceptance of detainees from the US prison in Guantanamo.
