Koper Mayor Cleared of Abuse of Office Charges by Higher Court

Koper, 22 June - Koper Mayor Boris Popovic has been acquitted of abuse of office charges related to a case from 2001 by the Koper Higher Court, which however confirmed the tax evasion charges from the same case and handed Popovic a suspended prison term of eight months with one-year probation.
