President Tuerk Wrapping Up Visit to New York

New York, 29 June - President Danilo Tuerk will conclude on Wednesday his visit to the UN headquarters in New York, where he participated in a thematic conference on global governance. Tuerk moreover lobbied for Slovenia's bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council, which he also presented to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday.
