Italy Clears Off-Shore Gas Terminal, Slovenia Mulling Response

Ljubljana, 22 July - The Italian environmental authorities have cleared the construction of an off-shore gas terminal in the Gulf of Trieste and a gas pipeline Trieste-Grado-Villesse, which are being opposed by environmentalists from Slovenia and Italy. Slovenia will decide on the course of action once it has examined documents sent by Italy.
