Protest Raised Against Austria's Karavanke Lorry Ban

Ljubljana, 28 July - Austria's ban on heavy lorries in the Karavanke tunnel, to be in force at weekends during the tourist season, invited complaints from Slovenia on Thursday. Transport Minister Patrick Vlacic said that this "unilateral" decision was not "in the spirit of cooperation between two countries" that have to regulate traffic together.
