MPs Back Guarantee for Controversial Energy Project at First Reading
Ljubljana, 28 September - Parliament backed on first reading on Wednesday a bi-partisan bill granting government guarantees for EUR 440m-worth of loans for the construction of a new generator at the Sostanj coal-fired power plant, TES. Out of 66 MPs present, 31 voted in favour and 14 against.
