Slovenia Hopes for Success in Vote for Security Council

New York, 18 October - The UN General Assembly will vote on new non-permanent members of the Security Council for the 2012-2013 term on Friday. A little over a decade after its first stint, Slovenia is bidding again for the spot reserved for the East European group, competing against Azerbaijan and Hungary for the seat vacated by Bosnia-Herzegovina.
