Minority Protests against Italy's Plan to Cut Media Funds

Trieste, 15 November - The two umbrella organisations of the Slovenian minority in Italy have sent a letter to Italy's PM designate Mario Monti, protesting against planned budget cuts that are to take away a third of the funds earmarked for the minority's TV and radio programmes in Slovenian produced by public broadcaster RAI.
