Jankovic Propelled to Win by Central Slovenia

Ljubljana, 5 December - A breakdown of the vote by regions shows Zoran Jankovic was propelled to victory by voters in central Slovenia, in particular his stronghold in and around the capital Ljubljana, whereas the runners-up, the Democrats (SDS) are stronger in the eastern part of the country.
