Equal Opportunities Office Says 31% of Female MPs Major Breakthrough

Ljubljana, 8 December - The Government Office for Equal Opportunities said on Thursday that the Sunday general election brought a major breakthrough in terms of gender equality, as the landmark of 30% of female MPs elected had been exceeded. The office said this would increase the legitimacy of the decisions made at the highest political level.
