Maribor, 15 December - The 2012 European Capital of Culture (EPK) project, hosted by Maribor and five partner cities, has been received with diverging opinions in Slovenia. While organisers claim it is a huge opportunity for the development of the region, its opponents say that it only serves for financial gains and bonus points for politicians.
