Culture Capital Director Threatens to Resign over Funding
Maribor, 12 December - Mitja Cander announced on Monday he was ready to resign as the programme director of the European Capital of Culture in 2012 if partner cities do not provide the promised funds. A month before the project is launched, most municipalities have not yet even provided the money for this year, he said.
