Kresal Irrevocably Resigns as LDS Head
Ljubljana, 15 December - Following a major defeat of the Liberal Democrats (LDS) in the 4 December general election, Katarina Kresal irrevocably resigned as the party head on Thursday. She told the press she had resigned to enable a "real competitive battle for new LDS leadership to start".
