Culture Capital Project Mired by Financial Problems, Resignations
Maribor, 29 December - The preparations for Maribor's 2012 stint as the European Capital of Culture, which started in late 2010, have been beset by financial problems of the Maribor 2012 institute, which manages the project, and resignations of a number of its officials. The project is nevertheless set to begin and is to feature 412 events in six cities.
