Coalition Talks Continue, Vote in Parliament Expected Next Wednesday

Ljubljana, 6 January - Talks on the new governing coalition continued on Friday, both with PM-designate Zoran Janković and runner-up Janez Janša, bringing among other things Positive Slovenia (PS) Janković's withdrawal of the plan to raise the VAT. Public broadcaster TV Slovenija reported that parliament is to vote on Janković becoming PM next Wednesday.
