Culture Capital Opening Weekend Closes With Opera

Maribor, 15 January - The opening weekend of Maribor's European Capital of Culture project will come to a close on Sunday evening with "Black Masks", an opera written by Marij Kogoj (1892-1956), one of Slovenia's most acclaimed avant-garde composers. The production is deemed one of the highlights of the year-long Capital of Culture project.
