Commissioner Vasiliu Sees Culture as Crucial for European Integration

Maribor, 15 January - European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth Androulla Vassilou, who is visiting Maribor as part of the European Capital of Culture project (EPK), said during Sunday's debate with Slovenian author Aleš Debeljak that culture was not a luxury but a basic necessity also in a time of crisis.
