Janša's Appointment Hailed by Assembly for Republic, Not Liberal Academy

Ljubljana, 29 January - The appointment of Janez Janša of the Democrats (SDS) as PM-elect has prompted diverging reactions from the president of the rightist forum Assembly for the Republic Lovro Šturm and the leftist think-tank Liberal Academy. While Šturm stressed that it was good news for Slovenia, the Academy does not trust the new PM-elect.
