Brussels Welcomes Slovenia's Commitment to Lowering Deficit

Brussels, 2 April - The European Commission welcomed on Monday the commitment of the Slovenian government to get the country's budget deficit below 3% of GDP by 2013, noting that the goal could still be reached. Brussels expects the commitment will be backed with a supplementary budget and implemented as soon as possible.
