Govt Now Proposing 10% Public Sector Pay Cut

Ljubljana, 4 April - The government presented a new proposal of austerity measures to public sector trade unions on Wednesday involving a 10% cut in pay instead of the initially proposed 15% as well as allowing promotion. While one unionist termed the proposal as "more humane", the other negotiators for the unions rejected it.
