Speaker Invites Veterans to Ceremonial Session in Parliament

Ljubljana, 22 June - After the government's decision to invite only independence war veterans to Friday's National Day ceremony caused a great stir, as WWII veterans were traditionally a part of this ceremony, Speaker Gregor Virant invited veteran associations fighting in both wars to the ceremonial session in parliament. The invitation was rejected.
