PS Announces Support for Procedures to Tighten Referendum Rules

Ljubljana, 18 September - The opposition Positive Slovenia (PS) gave the green light on Tuesday to the procedures for changes to the Constitution designed to tighten referendum rules. The PS said the decision was to "end the agony" of the coalition New Slovenia (NSi), who have made their support conditional on making it harder for voters to initiate referendum procedures.
