New Police Commissioner Takes Over

Ljubljana, 18 October - Slovenia's new Police Commissioner Stanislav Veniger pledged to enable the police force to operate independently and autonomously as he took over on Thursday. He also expressed his confidence that cooperation with Interior Minister Vinko Gorenak will be "correct".
