Slovenia Issues US$ 2.25bn 10-Year Bond

Ljubljana, 19 October - Slovenia completed the issue of a US$ 2.25bn 10-year bond on Friday, with a coupon rate of 5.5% and yield of 5.7%, the Finance Ministry confirmed. The size and the yield have exceeded expectations, as Slovenia was originally aiming for US$ 1.5bn and the initial rate guidance was set by lead banks at a whisker over 6%.
