EU Tells Slovenia to Expand Protected Natural Areas

Brussels, 21 November - The European Commission told Slovenia on Wednesday to designate mores sites for Natura 2000, Europe's network of protected natural areas, saying that the number and size of these sites still does not meet the standards set down in the EU birds directive.
