Experts Propose Alternative to Minimum Referendum Turnout
Ljubljana, 29 November - The team of experts tasked with reviewing proposals for tighter referendum rules agrees with the constitutional changes in principle, but instead of limiting the validity of a referendum to a 35% turnout proposes that at least 25% of all eligible voters need to vote no for a law to be defeated.
