Maribor to Tone Down European Culture Capital Closing Ceremony
Maribor, 5 December - Protests against Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler have forced the organisers of the European Capital of Culture project to rejig plans for the closing ceremony. The event will not be cancelled but it will be "adjusted to the security situation in the city", the STA learnt from Institute Maribor 2012 on Wednesday.
