Upper Chamber Elects President, Shows Kangler the Door
Ljubljana, 12 December - Mitja Bervar, director of the Ljubljana opera and ballet house, was elected president of the upper chamber of parliament as the new line-up of the National Council held its maiden session on Wednesday. But the councillors failed to endorse the term of Franc Kangler, the outgoing Maribor mayor, as member of the council.
