Public Sector Strike Confirmed for 23 January

Ljubljana, 4 January - Public sector trade unions confirmed on Thursday 23 January as the date of a general work-to-rule strike in the wake of a 5% cut in the funding for wages in the sector. The unions oppose the implementation of the cut being left to the discretion of individual ministries and accuse the government of refusing to engage in dialogue.
