Tighter Referendum Rules Expected to Pass First Hurdle

Ljubljana, 10 January - The parliamentary Constitution Commission will decide Thursday whether to launch proceedings for a constitutional change that would tighten referendum rules by stripping both houses of parliament of the right to call a referendum and by restricting the conditions for the validity of a no vote.
