Police Decide to Start Strike on Friday

Ljubljana, 10 January - The Police Trade Union of Slovenia (PSS), the bigger of two police unions, said its members would go on strike on Friday over the government's failure to meet demands that led to a suspension of the previous strike in May 2012. Officers will nevertheless provide security at Friday's protests, PSS head Radivoj Uroševič said on Thursday.
