University and Chancellor Fined over Protest

Ljubljana, 16 January - The police have imposed fines on the Ljubljana University and its chancellor Stane Pejovnik for irregularities at a protest against planned budget cuts for higher education in December. Pejovnik told the STA on Wednesday he accepted objective responsibility and would not appeal although he found the protest exemplary.
