Public Sector Employees Expected to Go on Strike

Ljubljana, 23 January - A general strike of public sector employees and rallies in 15 larger towns will be held on Wednesday in response to austerity measures in the sector and the unwillingness of the government to engage in talks. A major strike is moreover to be held by members of the SKEI trade union of the electronics and steel sectors.
