PSS Police Union Begins Strike, Talks Under Way

Ljubljana, 11 January - The Police Trade Union of Slovenia (PSS), the bigger of two police unions in Slovenia, started at 11 AM industrial action over the government's failure to meet all the demands that led to a suspension of the previous strike in May 2012. While talks are under way, the union said security at protests would not be jeopardised by the strike.
