Mercator Has Problems Paying Off Loans

Ljubljana, 5 February - Retailer Mercator, which recently reported a EUR 104m loss for 2012, has problems with paying off its loans. Chairman Toni Balažič is working on a deal with banks enabling the retailer to regularly pay off in the next six months only the interests and not the EUR 1.1bn in principal, the daily Dnevnik reports on Tuesday.
