Construction Sector Contracts by 16.8% in 2012

Ljubljana, 15 February - The construction sector in Slovenia shrank severely in 2012, as the value of construction works was down 16.8% compared to the year before. In December alone the value of construction works decreased by 13.6% year-on-year, while a comparison with the monthly average in 2005 and December 2012 shows a 39.3% contraction.
