Abanka Capital Increase Fails, Fresh Attempt Proposed

Ljubljana, 19 February - Slovenia's third largest bank, Abanka Vipa, only managed to raise EUR 36.4m in an attempted EUR 90m capital increase launched in December last year. The procedure, which included a EUR 50m success threshold, was declared failed on Tuesday, a new attempt under different conditions has however already been announced.
