Top Court Restores Kangler Seat in Upper Chamber

Ljubljana, 22 February - The Constitutional Court has annulled the National Council's decision of 12 December not to confirm the term of the then outgoing Maribor mayor. The top court gave Kangler, who was elected legitimately, back his seat in the upper chamber of parliament, arguing that the rejection was arbitrary and had no legal basis.
