Šircelj Hopes Brussels Will Give Slovenia More Time to Fix Deficit

Brussels, 5 March - Outgoing Finance Ministry State Secretary Andrej Šircelj expressed in Brussels on Tuesday the hope that the European Commission will recognise the "extreme effort" that the government has invested in reducing the budget deficit and extend the deadline for bringing it in line with the EU's rules.
