Govt Expands Natura 2000 Areas to 37.16% of Country

Ljubljana, 19 April - The government designated in a correspondence session on Friday additional sites for Natura 2000, Europe's network of protected natural areas, expanding the total protected area by 2.4% to 37.16% of Slovenia and meeting in the process the requirements of two EU directives.
