Businesses Welcome EU Recommendations, Unions Against

Ljubljana, 29 May - Recommendations issued for Slovenia by the European Commission on Wednesday were welcomed by business representatives, with the country's two biggest chambers agreeing with the guidelines. Meanwhile, trade unions regretted that the Commission insisted on "extreme" austerity, which they say will only deepen the crisis.
