President believes lives of Slovenians better because of EU

Ljubljana, 1 May - President Nataša Pirc Musar noted in her address at the 20th anniversary of Slovenia joining the EU the many benefits that Slovenia enjoys as a member state, including a more successful economy and European solidarity. "Because of EU membership we undoubtedly live better than we would otherwise," the president said.
